International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, working  in more than 40 countries and 25 US cities. Founded in 1933, IRC provides lifesaving services to the world’s most vulnerable, providing effective and efficient humanitarian aid to millions of refugees caught in crisis worldwide. Its mission is to help people whose lives and livelihoods have been shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future.
