SWLP AT STRYXE
MARCH 24, 2019, 4 PM
Thank you so much for participating in the SWLP at Stryxe event on March 24 at 4 pm (updated time)! As a reminder, each student will need to conduct a donation drive for needed "wish list" items for their selected charity. Below are details on how to get started.
To begin, check out our charities, then fill out the form below indicating your first and second choices for charities to support. Our hope is to have each student supporting a different charity but some overlap is expected. Once we receive your request, we will send you a link so that you can customize the items you want on your wish list donation drive.
Once you pick the items, we will create a unique page for your donation drive (see Jackson's). You will also receive a fancy email that you can forward to friends and family to ask for donations.
Optional: If you would like to customize your webpage with a photo, you can email it to us. No promises -- not all photos work! It must be high-res, work with our text layout, and able to be cropped to ~3"H x 8"W. If you do not submit a photo, the standard photo for that charity will be used instead (see sample).
You forward the fancy email to your friends and family and ask them to please make donations off your wish list to your selected charity. We will keep an eye on the wish lists to ensure there are always enough choices available.
Stryxe has kindly donated the event on March 24 at 4 pm (please note updated time). We will also give the kids arcade cards, and have food and drinks for the adults if you want to stay and have a bite. We are expecting representatives from our charities to attend and meet the kids who helped out so plan on photos!
Note: There is a chance that photos of the event may appear in a NJ Monthly article. Separately, there may also be a documentary film crew in attendance. If you are comfortable with your child potentially appearing in public photos/film, we would ask you to please sign a release for each outlet. Absolutely no names or other identifying details would be made public.
