All of Student Wish List Project's partnered charities have 501(c)(3) status, which means that donation of goods to these organizations is tax-exempt. Donors need to include a gift receipt with their name and address if they would like to receive a receipt for their donation from the charitable organization.
Most donations can be shipped directly to the charitable organization. Other items, such as non-Amazon gift cards or groceries, can be shipped to or dropped off with Student Wish List Project, and we will arrange for delivery.
When purchasing the item on Amazon, you will be asked to select a shipping address during the checkout process. Select the charity's gift registry address (for example, "Good Grief's Gift Registry Address"). On a desktop computer, this will usually be the first address listed under "Other Addresses." On a mobile phone, it is usually the first address listed after the "Recently Used" address. Click "Use this address" (on a desktop) or "Deliver to this address" (on a phone). If you would like to receive a receipt from the charity for your tax-deductible donation, you can include a gift receipt with your name and address with your item. When purchasing the item on Amazon, please select "This is a gift" during checkout. You will be asked to select gift options. No gift wrapping is necessary but you can opt to include a gift receipt, then fill in your name and address on the receipt. Click "Save gift options." Detailed instructions can be found here.

WHY DOESN'T THE DRIVE REFLECT MY PURCHASE?
The wish list drive pages are updated regularly but not automatically. To help us ensure the wish list is as accurate as possible, please fill in the Let Me Know form at the bottom of the wish list drive webpage.
HOW WILL THE STUDENT KNOW I DONATED?
To let the student know that you donated, fill in the Let Me Know form at the bottom of the wish list drive webpage. This also helps us keep the wish list as updated as possible.
No, you will not be added to any mailing lists. We will not add you to the Student Wish List Project mailing list. If you wish to be added to the charity's mailing list, we will direct you to the charity so that they can process your request directly.
Information submitted through forms on our website is transmitted on a secure server. We do not collect your information and will not add you to our mailing list. We will never share your personal information without your explicit consent. Read more about our privacy policy.
